ISB High School Intern Program

ISB Baliga Lab

Current 11th graders are eligible to apply for ISB’s 8-week formal summer internship. Projects are aligned with a current ISB project and driven by a mentor in areas like computational biology, cancer, microbiology, engineering, and the microbiome. Students learn about systems biology, apply their learning to a research project, interview ISB professionals, and build a website describing their experience. Unpaid service learning and paid positions are available.
