Systems Thinkers in STEM Ambassadorship (STiSA)

The Systems Thinkers in STEM Ambassadorship (STiSA) program offers numerous free online micro-courses, workgroups, and in-person events. All 10th and 11th-grade applicants who complete the full application are accepted into STiSA. Participants engage through an interactive Slack channel to collaborate on projects, build connections with peers and Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) staff, and hear about upcoming STEM opportunities. Ambassadors begin by attending a 'Systems Are Everywhere' workshop and can subsequently enroll in individually chosen micro-courses like 'Introduction to Systems Medicine' or 'Environmental Systems, Research, and Stewardship.' The program operates on open enrollment.
