LEADS Program (ISB)

ISB Baliga Lab

The Leadership, Empowerment and Development in STEM (LEADS) program is designed by an all-female group of scientists and educators to help support and prepare high school students to be leaders. The program features activities that build seven major foundational skills for STEM leaders, and includes sessions where STEM leaders share their personal career journeys and strategies for overcoming barriers. The program runs twice a year (summer and winter) and is open to high school students who participate in any of ISB SEE's summer experiences (such as STiSA). Applications open every January and are due in March.
